What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Research laws and prepare legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda
- Render opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department
- Prepare and handle pleadings, motions, and discovery, including depositions and trial defense
- Document files clearly and concisely for understanding by clients and colleagues
- Manage complex instructions and facilitate conflict resolution with strong organizational skills

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-6+ years of experience in a related field
- Juris Doctor degree
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar
- Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in Massachusetts
- Ability to travel as required for trials, hearings, and meetings

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Civil litigation experience
- Insurance defense-related litigation experience
- Strong professional communication skills in person and in writing
