      The University of New England College of Dental Medicine (UNE CDM) invites applications for Associate Dean of Clinic Operations and Quality of Care. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE) 12-month clinical track faculty appointment at the Associate Clinical Professor/Clinical Professor rank with an administrative appointment as the Associate Dean of Clinic Operations and Quality of Care.

      ROLE SUMMARY
      The Associate Dean of Clinic Operations and Quality of Care (ADCOQC) reports directly to the Dean of the College of Dental Medicine (CDM) and is responsible for the overall patient care mission in the CDM Oral Health Center (OHC).

      The ADCOQC serves as a Chief Clinical Officer on behalf of the Dean, and combines an array of clinic management and operations expertise, problem solving skills, human resources experience, and patient care knowledge; as well as the vision to advance the strategic goals of the Office of the Dean for the CDM. The ADCOQC oversees the Oral Health Center teaching clinic operations and is responsible for the overall experience of patients seeking care from the predoctoral dental students and faculty providers.

      Additionally, the ADCOQC serves as the Dean’s liaison to central administration as it relates to clinical operations, facilities, patient privacy, and infection prevention and control.

      The ADCOQC is expected to have a preclinical, clinical or didactic teaching role, consistent with their area of expertise.
