The Associate Director of Employer Engagement will develop and manage external employer relationships and expand the range of new partnerships and new initiatives. The Associate Director of Employer Engagement will work with the Employer Engagement team to advance the growth of the Lehigh brand in the local, regional and national job market, and strategically engage employers and organizations that best match Lehigh academic programs and students' interests and abilities. This position supports the University’s return on investment and historically strong first destination outcomes. This position is a Grade: 9 - 40 with an approximate salary range of $54,390-$66,190 and is subject to change based on experience, skills and qualifications

1. Strategic Outreach and Development
•Develop and manage ongoing relationships with companies and organizations, domestically and internationally, in specific areas (particular industry, non-profit and/or government), that lead to employment opportunities (internships and full-time) for students.
•Acquire new employer relationships based on hiring and student interest data and identify new opportunities to increase employment opportunities.
•Network with alumni and other sources within specific areas (particular industries, non-profit and/or government) to strengthen and broaden relationships that support students.
•Serve as primary employer engagement liaison with the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Health and/or the College of Business and P.C.Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science for coordinating events and disseminating information related to employer engagement and recruiting.2. Project Management
•Serve as a project manager for networking events and initiative-based programs that support student-led clubs and organizations engagement with employer partners.
•Co-facilitate planning and execution of two annual career expos (September and February) to connect students and employers.
•Lead the execution of communication strategy for outreach to employers.
•Create content for social media and internal communication related to employers, hiring events and hiring outcomes, with a focus on diversity, equity and inclusion.3. Program Promotion & Assessment
•Serve as the CCPD employer engagement liaison to targeted campus groups/communities. Collaborate with key campus partners to share information regarding employer partners and targeted programming for students (i.e. Athletics, Office of Student Leadership Development, Greek Affairs, Office of Residence Life).
•Develop programs that connect alumni and students to promote awareness of industries, companies, and organizations within students' career interest areas.
•Participate on various cross-functional teams to promote the vision and direction of The Center for Career and Professional Development.
•Represent Lehigh and The Center for Career and Professional Development in local and national professional associations and conferences in order to stay current with higher education and employer/industry trends, revise programs to reflect trends, and increase the center's visibility among professionals in the field.Special Considerations

This position works with minors
This position is responsible for driving University-owned vehicles as a routine function, therefore a valid Driver’s License and a good driving record is required
The duties of this position may allow the employee to work partially remote as deemed appropriate by their supervisor
Qualifications
•Master's Degree in Student Personnel, Higher Education, a related field or the equivalent combination of education and experience
•Three to five years of related work experience
•Broad knowledge of recruiting practices, industry trends, and best practices in career services
•Demonstrated skills in developing a team approach to career education and to develop productive working relationships with multiple constituents including students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and employers
•Qualified candidates are able to work independently and in a team within a culturally diverse environment; are aware of new technologies and trends; and demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
•Knowledge of the emerging trends in career development programming
Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position
