What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and execute the publication plan for medical communications
- Collaborate with external experts and internal stakeholders to ensure publications meet gaps and incorporate the latest data
- Oversee the tactical execution of the publication plan, ensuring high-quality and timely publications
- Maintain expert knowledge of publication policies, industry regulations, and best practices
- Contribute to initiatives that improve publication practices and processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- PhD or PharmD required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical or scientific publications within the pharmaceutical industry
- Knowledge of publication best practices (ICMJE, GPP2022)
- Demonstrated leadership capacity and experience in cross-functional collaboration
- Experience in managing medical or scientific writers/vendors

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Professional credentials/certification (e.g., CMPP) a plus
- Experience managing budgets related to publication activities
