You'll need a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style to deliver a range of Invoice Finance products for both new and existing bank clients.

      JOB TITLE: Associate Director, Invoice Finance Sales

      LOCATION(S): Reading / Southampton / M4 Corridor

      HOURS: Full time

      SALARY: £56,000 to £70,000

      WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site


      The Invoice finance Team plays a key part of the cashflow solution for many trading businesses and is a growth product both within LBG and the UK generally, making this an exciting area to develop a career within the wider Group!


      About this opportunity

      We have an opportunity to join the South Sales Team as one of our Associate Directors. You'll need a strong profile in the marketplace to identify and deliver high quality new business opportunities, as well as a collaborative working style to deliver a range of Invoice Finance products for both new and existing bank clients.


      What would you be doing?

      • You'd be required to self-generate your own leads from referrals and visit prospects at the Bank or in their premises to sell our service, negotiating pricing and terms to matrix as well as educating the external community and SME banking’s wider offering.
      • You'd be responsible for writing structured proposals for sanctioning as well as on-boarding these new clients.
      • You'd work closely with our Client Managers who handle the client relationship after the deal has been concluded.


      This will be a great role for a proven sales performer who wishes to work in a very successful part of the Group and can nurture and build relationships with internal and external partners.

      What we'll need from you:

      • Knowledge/ understanding of Invoice Finance
      • Outstanding business development skills with the stakeholder management capability to ensure business opportunities are maximised
      • Experienced in client face to face sales negotiations
      • A proficiency in the credit and underwriting process and a fluency in financial analysis
      • Strongly connected within the local professional community, and able to demonstrate that you use these connections for business development opportunities
      • A genuine interest and understanding in SME businesses and how their business working capital cycle works
