- Access Strategy: Contribute to the development and refinement of access strategies for new and existing products across EMEA, including value narratives, evidence planning, and price determinations. Lead assigned research projects to inform and support the strategy. Develop regional strategic access collateral, including documents to support field access activities at an affiliate level.
- Pricing and Reimbursement: Lead the execution of reimbursement procedures in assigned EMEA markets for our lead product, alongside local affiliates and in collaboration with HEOR and external partners.
- Evidence planning: Ensure evidence needs are continuously defined alongside HEOR; progressively input into the methods and draft outputs of Core Evidence Projects, to ensure relevance to the value narrative of the company’s products at launch, and their longer-term value demonstration. Lead assigned Core Evidence Projects directly.
- Cross functional collaboration: Ensure access needs are communicated to, and integrated into, the plans and activities of enabling functions which are critical to successful pricing and reimbursement in Europe. Key functions include; Patient Advocacy; Public Affairs and Health Policy; Regulatory Affairs; Medical Affairs; and Affiliate “subnational” reimbursement pull through activities.
- Operational pricing: Track and record pricing levels across products and markets.
- Business planning processes: Contribute to key business planning processes, including; launch tracking; budget setting; brand planning; P&L forecasts; business development activities. Manage assigned operating budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is advantageous.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, with at least 3 years in a market access role.
- Demonstrable experience of directly managing reimbursement procedures with national HTA and pricing authorities across multiple markets in Europe.
- Strong understanding of EMEA healthcare systems, payor landscapes, and access requirements.
- Evidence of good conceptual understanding of statistical and research methods, as well as impactful written and verbal communication skills in both scientific and business contexts.
- Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strategic and analytical thinker, with attention to detail.
- Self-starter and pragmatic decision maker.

Summary
The Market Access Associate Director EMEA will be work alongside the EMEA Access lead, local affiliates and HEOR to manage the reimbursement application procedures for assigned markets in Europe, ensuring that the access strategy is realised in terms of optimal pricing and reimbursement conditions for the company’s lead specialty pulmonology product. The role will also more broadly support access planning for the company’s longer term pipeline assets. This role requires a deep understanding of the diverse HTA and pricing environments within EMEA, strong strategic acumen, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders.Responsibilities
