      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Develop and manage strategic relationships with decision-makers in state Medicaid programs and government payer organizations
      - Monitor regulatory changes and healthcare trends impacting payer coverage and reimbursement for innovative therapies
      - Negotiate contracts and implement initiatives to secure coverage and reimbursement within Medicaid and government-funded plans
      - Collaborate with internal teams to align on market access goals and optimize patient access
      - Leverage data to identify opportunities for improving patient access and reimbursement solutions

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in national and regional account management within commercial and government payer systems
      - Demonstrated expertise in Medicaid and government payer systems, including policy and reimbursement processes
      - Strong understanding of coding and reimbursement processes within Medicaid and government payer systems
      - Proven ability to manage complex projects within tight timelines in a dynamic biotech environment
      - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Policy, or a related field; MBA preferred

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience launching premium-priced, rare disease products in the U.S. market
      - Cell and gene therapy experience preferred
      - Experience negotiating contracts with Medicaid programs and understanding state-specific nuances
      - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a track record of influencing key stakeholders
      - High emotional intelligence and ability to build strategic partnerships in the Medicaid and government payer space
