- Identify and cultivate a pipeline of prospects for immediate and long-term cultivation.
- Articulate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion, through excellent informal and formal communications including written proposals.
- Interpret research information pertinent to relationship building with potential donors.
- Complete a total of fifteen monthly visits with prospects and donors.
- Work collaboratively with campus leadership, staff, volunteers, and donors to create and implement strategies to secure philanthropic gifts ($2,500 to $50,000 level).
- Travel throughout the region and beyond to pursue these strategies and build enduring relationships, tracked to a fixed and appropriately aggressive set of fundraising metrics.
- Monitor progress toward revenue goals and provide regular reports to the Director of Development.
- Serve as an ambassador for the campus and its priorities and values.
- A track record of success meeting fundraising goals by personally soliciting gifts.
- The capacity to think and act strategically.
- A dedication to and understanding of the skills required to build relationships with diverse communities.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills.

The pay range for this position, including all possible grades is:
$56,200.00 - $81,500.00Salary Structure - additional information on Penn State's job and salary structure.
