The Role

We are in search of a highly skilled and experienced Senior Director, Cybersecurity Program Manager to lead our team. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), this role will serve as a primary leader in strategizing, planning, and executing Digital and company-wide cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate should have an expert understanding of defining the critical path of large-scale programs, identifying dependencies, mitigating risks, and ensuring deliverables and deadlines are met. This role requires a minimum of 12 years of professional experience, a relevant degree or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree, and substantial experience directing cybersecurity programs at a growing tech or biotech company.

Here's What You’ll Do:

• Strategize, plan, and manage the execution of Digital and company-wide cybersecurity initiatives.

• Define the critical path of large-scale programs, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.

• Ensure that all program deliverables and deadlines are met in a timely manner.

• Lead cross-functional teams to drive the successful completion of cybersecurity initiatives.

• Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of cybersecurity programs.

• Provide thought leadership and strategic insights to drive the improvement of cybersecurity across the organization.

• Undertake additional duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table

• Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field. In lieu of a degree, 4+ years of relevant work experience is required.

• Proven experience directing large-scale cybersecurity programs at a growing tech or biotech company.

Under Washington State law, Moderna is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for the jobs covered by this description. Base compensation for these positions in Washington State range from $182,000 to $327,500 . Actual salary determinations will take into account factors such as work location, prior education and experience, job-related knowledge, and demonstrated skills. Compensation decisions are made on the facts and circumstances of each case.
