      About the Team

      The Test Security team at College Board is a close-knit, collaborative team of xx people with a passion for fairness in our assessments. The team is committed to protecting the integrity of all College Board assessments and the reputation of the organization. We pride ourselves on developing scalable, innovative, fair and data-driven policies, processes and tools to prevent, deter and detect attempts to gain an unfair advantage on College Board exams. This team is currently made up of 5 individuals, but we work closely with our broader Test Security department to support metrics and data analyses as well as coordination with our Operations and Technology Divisions and a variety of external vendors to support our business processes.

      About the Opportunity

      As the Associate Director of Test Security Operations, you will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of test security and business operations. Your primary focus will be maintaining rigorous quality control standards across processes and systems, particularly during peak seasons. You will oversee the review and management of test center establishment requests and coordinator changes to support our organization’s priority to expand test center availability for students to access SAT Weekend testing as well as supporting our organization’s commitment to compliance to data privacy and supporting students with accommodations needs through evaluating data privacy and SSD requests for test security impacts. Additionally, you will drive reconciliation and quality control (QC) efforts through in-depth analysis and precise reporting. Your role is critical in supporting both ongoing and peak-season workflows, ensuring timely , accurate , and consistent execution of key operational tasks .

      In this role you will:

      Implement and enhance best-in-class test security services in support of valid and fair administration of all College Board assessments (80%)

      • Manage Test Center Establishment and Test Center Coordinator Change process. Represent test security in the review of test center applications and coordinator change requests. Evaluate applications and requests for compliance with security standards, providing feedback and recommendations

      • Develop and manage reconciliation and Quality Control (QC) efforts across all test security processes. Generate and analyze reports at the end of each testing window to verify the accuracy of scores and hold statuses, identifying any discrepancies. Share reconciliation reports with the team for review and collaborate on resolving any issues identified . Conduct thorough quality checks on cases across all programs, correcting any mistakes and ensuring accuracy within the case management system

      • Maintain communications QC by examining communication records for each College Readiness Assessments (CRA) and Advanced Placement (AP) exams administrations to ensure accuracy, identifying and correcting any errors or inconsistencies. Maintain detailed logs of all Test Security communications for easy reference and accountability

      • During peak periods, assist with Holds Management support, including managing hold processes, updating rosters, and serving as backup support. Similarly, the role will assist with AP Deliverables, providing cross-workflow support from May to September to ensure seamless execution of AP exam processes

      • Assist with Data Privacy Deletion Requests and SSD Consent Withdrawals, reviewing cases in Salesforce for any test security-related issues

      Support improved user experience of post-administration work for CRA and AP testing (20%)

      • Assist with Escalation Management, which involves daily monitoring and triaging of reconsideration requests and escalations, responding to customer escalations, tracking cases outside service level agreements, providing feedback to customer care on misrouted cases, and managing communications related to AP test security issues

      • Assist with irregularity case management activities, including managing bulk security case cloning for large-volume irregularities and updating record types for referral cases

      About You

      You have:

      • Experience in conducting thorough process audits to evaluate compliance with quality standards particularly in Test Security

      • In depth understanding of the K-12 test security and evaluations landscape

      • Proven ability to build or revamp processes to improve quality

      • Experience in data analysis and research skills, including use of data visualization tools such as Salesforce, Vizio, Tableau or Power BI preferred

      • Excellent PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and MS Project skills

      • Adept critical thinking s kills, including using data to inform decisions and actions

      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including facilitating meetings and presenting remotely and in-person to groups of 15 or more

      • Proven ability to build relationships and influence others to action

      • Bachelor’s degree is preferred

      • The ability to travel 2-3 times a year to College Board offices or on behalf of College Board business

      • Authorization to work for any employer in the United States

      The hiring range for a new employee in this position is $ 56,000 to $ 90,000 . College Board differentiates salaries by location so where you live will narrow the portion of this range in which you can expect a salary.
