What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate compliance oversight and ensure adherence to environmental regulations and policies
- Prepare environmental compliance reports and maintain inspection records
- Support investigations related to suspected violations and gather evidence
- Participate in spill prevention program development and hazardous waste management
- Inspect waste treatment and disposal facilities for regulatory compliance

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science degree in a science or engineering discipline with relevant experience, or a Master's degree in a science or engineering discipline
- Ability to learn and stay informed about applicable laws and regulations
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and prepare reports
- Commitment to safety protocols and environmental stewardship
- Experience working in a regulatory environment is a plus

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience at the Savannah River Site (SRS) is preferred
- Knowledge of radioactive materials and hazardous waste management practices
- Familiarity with state and federal environmental regulations
- Experience with environmental sampling and analysis methods
