      Job Description Summary:

      Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

      Event Leadership:

      • Leads the execution and management of internal and external private corporate events
      • Manages all aspects of event load-in and load-out, catering staff, vendor management, set up staff for assigned bookings. Acts as key liaison between WoCC and Caterers for assigned bookings.
      • Responsible for contracting and billing of all events including proposals, contracts, and event invoices using the Reserve system.
      • Attends all planning meetings for events as assigned.
      • Onboard and train new team members and partners (internal or external) on event management requirements and protocols

      Sales and Event Management:

      • Leads clients throughout all facets of events – from sales to planning, and through servicing the event through execution
      • Performs sales activities including conducting / participating in sales calls, site visits, phone calls, responding to inquiries generated via phone/web form requests, internal referrals, event ideation/consultation, communications, consultation, contracts showcasing World of Coca-Cola as a leading event venue and generating revenue
      • Client Management: Manage communications and client responses in alignment with TCCC communication principles, balancing Company, brand, attraction, partner and client needs
      • Contract Management: Under the direction of the Event Manager, negotiate contracts in support of sales goals, company considerations and attraction capabilities, while supporting team in ongoing contract development. Oversee quality and accuracy of contracts; partner with Legal on contract language as needed
      • Event Management: Recommends event run of show and solutions to clients, grounded in venue best practices; Coordinates with caterers/beverage partner/other partners in the planning of events, including requirements involving production, facilities, operations, security, cleaning, parking and other third parties. Supports event execution with teams.
      • Pemberton Place Sales and Marketing: Partner with Event Manager on sales initiatives to sell World of Coca-Cola, GA Aquarium and Center for Civil and Human Rights as a combined event destination, conduct site visits, design/layout, partner integration, guidelines, compliance, resource requirements, catering relationships, contract, communications and oversight of execution
      • Represents World of Coca-Cola at leading industry events, community and internal functions/meetings through networking, presentations and partner-oriented communications to build awareness and book business

      Event Communications and Collaboration:

      • Manage events calendar and communications with the broad Retail and Attractions teams: Coordinate weekly event updates with Admin on Marketing/Operating Hours/Events calendar
      • As needed, coordinate and lead weekly Event Operations cross-functional meetings, planning and reviewing event schedule and individual resumes with team before distributing, while pre-planning meetings and content for discussion with Events team in advance

      Requirements Skills:

      • Event industry experience including Sales
      • Experience with marketing and selling event destinations
      • Ability to conceptualize big ideas and see ideas through to execution
      • Highly motivated and decisive individual who is self-directed yet works well in a team
      • Basic project management experience
      • Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, CAD
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Fluent in English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Spanish preferred. Other languages are value-added.
      • Conflict Resolution and problem solving
      • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business or a related field, preferred
      • 5+ years events/sales and management experience
      • CMP preferred
