      This is a full-time position located in Kennewick, Washington, supporting Cornerstone Wealth Strategies. You will work on-site with a team dedicated to helping clients at every stage of their financial journey.

      Job Overview

      The Associate Financial Advisor II is responsible for building value-added relationships with clients and developing solutions tailored to their financial needs. This role provides opportunities for growth, mentorship, and professional development, preparing candidates to transition into a Financial Advisor role. Successful candidates will be personable, confident, driven, and adaptable to change. They will have a passion for financial realities, a service-oriented mindset, and the ability to work closely with clients and colleagues.

      Key Responsibilities

      • Help clients grow and protect their assets to achieve financial goals, including:
      • Funding a secure retirement
      • Growth above inflation and taxes
      • Protection of assets from estate taxes
      • Build referral pipelines and develop strong partnerships to grow client relationships.
      • Analyze client financial data and assist in developing investment strategies and leading portfolio rebalancing efforts.
      • Create financial plans tailored to client goals, time horizons, and risk appetites.
      • Prepare and review client communications, forms, and account documents.
      • Adhere to all compliance and legal requirements.
      • Answer routine client questions and prepare for client meetings.
      • Assist with client prospecting and marketing efforts.
      • Attend coaching sessions and training events to enhance sales skills and industry knowledge.
      • Utilize new tools and resources to improve team productivity (e.g., new technology, platform enhancements).

      Qualifications

      • Proven track record of success in investment sales.
      • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Finance or similar field)
      • Strong knowledge of financial products and skills necessary to execute the outlined business model.
      • Licenses (preferred or must obtain within six months of hire):
        • FINRA Series 7
        • FINRA Series 66 (preferred) or Series 63


      Pay Range:

      59,250-98,750/year


      Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location. This position is also eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
