What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Structure, draft, and negotiate commercial contracts, including software and service agreements
- Act as lead attorney for the employer's VetSoft business, managing multiple cloud software offerings
- Provide strategic legal advice to stakeholders and participate in business leadership meetings
- Collaborate with in-house teams and outside counsel to ensure effective legal support
- Design and manage contract processes to enable efficient commercial contracting

What is Required (Qualifications):
- J.D. or equivalent degree with top academic credentials
- Bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 8-10+ years of substantial experience in software licensing and commercial contracts
- Demonstrated excellent legal skills in contract structuring, drafting, and negotiation
- Experience in a multinational, public company environment is highly valued

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior in-house experience with a cloud-based software company
- Deep experience supporting SaaS, including standard terms creation
- Familiarity with privacy matters in a commercial context related to SaaS offerings
- Proficiency in legal operations tools and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills
