      DHL Group Legal Services offers all business partners worldwide solution-oriented legal advice. We provide comprehensive support in contracts, negotiations, and processes with customers and suppliers as well as in general litigation and commercial law matters.

      Your tasks:
      • Provides comprehensive legal services to DHL Express, DGF and eCom in the U.S. in employment law; ensures company complies with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations related to employment law.
      • Analyzes and interprets case law, court reports, and proposed and existing laws, rules, regulations and company policies related to employment law to communicate on how they impact the organization's operations.
      • Designs and implements legal risk mitigation strategies and policies in employment
      • Advises senior and other levels of management and personnel on legal and related risks associated with DPDHL's operations in area of employment; advises business on legal trends and developing areas of law;
      • Responsible for day-to-day counseling to HR on employment issues. Also, responsible for helping the business understand substantive concepts as well as their role in ensuring compliance with employment laws.
      • Investigate and manage issues involving potential violations of law by employees.
      • Works with VP, Legal to manage all aspects of internal and external legal spend in area of employment with budget level responsibility for same
      • Maintains a strong relationship with key business stakeholders to meet business needs.
      • Provides training to HR, Operations and other related business leaders on legal requirements related to employment
      • Identify and recommend innovative changes for process improvement.
      • Manages administrative charges with the EEOC and related state agencies, and manages employment-related litigations, including wage-hour and other class actions

      Your profile:
      • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school
      • 5+ years experience in employment law
      • In-house experience preferred
