What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Coordinate legal services rendered by the Office of the Attorney General
- Prepare legal opinions, correspondence, reports, contracts, and other legal writings
- Support the Office of the Attorney General and agency’s outside counsel on litigated matters
- Assist in coordination of all stages of litigation and trial preparation
- Read and interpret statutes, case law, rules, and regulations
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in the practice of law
- Minimum of one (1) year of litigation experience related to state and federal laws
- Ability to handle high volume work in stressful and time-sensitive situations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Analytical skills and excellent judgment in decision-making
