What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Efficiently query multiple data types (medical and pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, chargemaster) using SQL to identify populations of interest
- Collaborate on pre-sale feasibility analyses, translating research and business questions into actionable data insights
- Support operational processes with the sales team to deliver feasibility counts accurately and on time
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal documentation and process improvement initiatives
- Dedicate time to team and individual improvement while taking ownership of pre-sale projects
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Strong SQL skills; additional programming ability is useful
- Understanding of life sciences research using observational real-world data
- At least a basic understanding of medical/pharmacy claims, EMR, lab, and/or chargemaster data
- Passionate about building a career in healthcare data analytics, consulting, or research
- Recently graduated or soon to graduate from a Master's degree program in a related quantitative or scientific field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of medical coding (ICD, CPT, HCPCS, NDC, etc.) is a plus
