Job Summary

Clinical Study Units (CSUs) are our experts with deep knowledge and know-how of clinical trial delivery in our key strategic countries and are one of the closest links to our clinical investigators and patients, setting up the company studies within each relevant country, and delivering quality data, as much as maintaining site and patient engagement in the longer term. The CSUs are supported by the relevant affiliate functions (medical, regulatory, external affairs) and the country HCP network to successfully conduct our trials.

You will be responsible to work with the Lead Local Study Manager in the day-to-day operations and play a crucial part of planning, executing, delivering, and monitoring of clinical trials aimed at driving organizational growth and success. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team who exemplifies fundamental strategic project management skills and behaviors. Training on ICH/GCP Guidelines & overview of clinical drug development will be provided to all new hires.

Main responsibilities:

Alongside a Sanofi expert and mentor, you will be coached, mentored, and guided in the following areas:

Project Management:

• Build expertise in planning, start-up, execution, and closing studies with emphasis on quality and efficacy

• Prioritization of study deliverables focused on impact

• Deliver patient country commitment

• Develop patient recruitment strategies

• Stakeholder Mapping, and Management

• Vendor Management

Problem Solving (Issue & Risk Management):

• Identify issues and risks

• Perform root cause analysis

• Apply critical thinking strategies to address problems

• Map threats & opportunities

• Check progress by assessment and measuring outcomes

Communication – Collaborative & Patient Centric:

• Interpersonal & Relationship Management across business units (US Clinical Studies Unit, Global Trial Operations, US Medical Team)

• Engagement Strategy aligned to Diversity and Inclusion in Clinical Trials (DICT)

• Stakeholder engagement

• Presentations and messaging aligned to the stakeholder

• Indirect management and leadership of vendor partner roles (Clinical Research Associates and Clinical Project Assistants)

• Share learning and insights with teams

• Frontline site engagement and relationship management

• Build and maintain robust and meaningful relationships with new and existing sites and investigators

Business / Medical / Scientific Acumen:

• Knowledge of Sanofi Pipeline and Key Therapeutic Areas

• Develop disease specific expertise

Data Analytics (& Digital):

• Data driven decision making

• Digital Implementation: willingness and ability to learn new digital tools and technologies as they emerge and adapt to changes in digital platforms and software (AI capabilities).
  

About you

Basic Qualifications:

• Must have recently graduated from an accredited University or College with at least bachelor’s degree in healthcare, Project Management, Marketing, or a related field.

• Must have permanent US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship experience or coursework related to project management is preferred.

• Passion for learning and applying proactive and strategic thinking to operationalize and manage clinical trials.

• Must demonstrate Sanofi Play to Win culture and Behaviors.

• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and learn easily in complex situations.

• Strong business acumen, strategic, critical thinking/problem solving and innovative thinking capabilities

• Ability to work independently and/or in a team setting.

• Insight generation from data

• Learning aptitude for science and proactive in strengthening knowledge related to disease-state, treatment options and healthcare trends.

• The ability to execute tactical initiatives, provide ongoing feedback, and prioritize Across competing priorities.

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

The salary range for this position is $81,750.00 to $109,000.00 USD Annually. All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience.
