What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist patients with inquiries
- Provide one-call resolution for patient inquiries and follow up on escalated issues
- Educate patients on understanding their Explanation of Benefits (EOB)
- Process payments and provide requested documentation and records
- Verify insurance and update demographic information as needed
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong customer service experience preferred
- Experience in accounts receivable, billing, or insurance verification preferred
- Previous healthcare experience preferred
- Bilingual preferred
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in customer service within a healthcare environment
- Knowledge of insurance contracts and payment processes
- Proficiency in handling accounts receivable and billing inquiries
