What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in sustaining engineering activities for legacy product systems under the guidance of senior engineering staff
- Review and evaluate product non-conformances and complaints for legacy products
- Update designs and specifications for existing products and assist in developing new design ideas
- Assist in the creation and updating of design control documentation and testing protocols
- Participate in inspection activities of medical devices and document observations from surgeries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field
- 0-3 years of experience in an engineering role, preferably in medical device development
- Familiarity with CAD software; SolidWorks experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Effective communication and teamwork skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Prior experience in medical device development
- Familiarity with regulatory standards for medical devices
- Experience in project management or leading engineering projects
- Knowledge of design control processes and documentation requirements
- Additional certifications in engineering or related fields
