What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with the Test Automation Architect to enhance automation frameworks and develop regression test suites
- Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure high-quality software releases
- Identify high-ROI test cases to minimize manual testing through automation
- Work as part of an Agile Engineering team to ensure thorough testing of functionality delivered in each sprint
- Document and monitor software defects while recommending improvements to test plans and processes

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, or Python
- 1-2 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation
- Hands-on experience with open-source automation frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
- Experience in automating UI and API tests with knowledge of SQL queries for database testing

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Exposure to mobile automation tools like Appium and experience with iOS and Android native frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD and cloud technologies for integrating automation solutions
- Experience with design patterns and frameworks such as Robot framework and page object model
- Strong debugging skills and the ability to provide mentorship within a QA team
- Knowledge of risk management or the insurance industry
