To implement New Balance’s sports marketing strategies and programs across all forms of media and retail through partnership with NB headquarters and Latin American distributors
To develop and manage the brand regionally in line with brand objectives.
To help achieve sales and profit goals for the Latin American business.
Manage all football sponsorships (kits, marketing, distributor oversight)
Develop and implement marketing strategies for NB’s premiere regional running events: NB Finals, NB Urban Mile, and NB 15K series; This would include digital/social media, PR, in-store activation, grass roots marketing etc.
Maximize New York Road Runners (NYRR), London Marathon and Valencia Marathon partnerships within the region
Work with running team to maximize global Team NB athletes in LATAM (“go to market” executions, appearances)
Identify, analyze, and recommend additional assets (runners, football, tennis)
Ensure creative consistency across all customer and consumer touch points
Develop and monitor marketing budgets
Results driven and action oriented – strong decision maker
Strong social/digital media capabilities
Strong negotiation skills
Strong organizational and analytical and communication skills
Confidence – able to influence at multiple levels, inspirational, has vision, coupled with high energy levels, pragmatism and passion
Be seen as a credible and effective leader
Able to bring creative and innovative solutions to a challenging situations
Excellent technical capabilities – proficient in Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and database packages
Languages: English and Portuguese mandatory, Spanish optional
5+ years of sports marketing for teams, athletes, and events
Three to Five years experience in athletic footwear/apparel and/or retail marketing
Business planning experience, ie, introducing and implementing innovative advertising and sale promotion programs
Brazil – Sao Paolo preferred. 2-3 days in office (DASS)
