What you'll do The Associate Technical Course Developer uses curriculum, lab, and video development processes to support the development of materials to be used in a variety of training delivery methods, including instructor-led, virtual instructor-led, self-paced, video, and blended training solutions. This position will focus on the full Docusign product suite including our eSignature and CLM curricula. You will review and test training for a variety of roles including product administrators, end users, implementers, workflow developers, architects, API developers, and AI specialists. You should be comfortable taking direction from management and senior course developers to support all levels of technical audiences and working with content that is translated into multiple languages. The Associate Technical Course Developer learns and follows defined development processes, uses development tools to complete tasks, updates training materials for existing classroom and online courses, tests and troubleshoots course activities, and contributes to the evolution of our course development processes. This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Technical Course Development. Responsibility Review and test the course and lab content for all Docusign product training courses and videos Assist in the development of training content and videos for technical courses under the supervision of management and senior team members Perform course content conversions and migrations across tools and/or templates Build and configure exam content in standard tools and templates Maintain translated course materials for localized content including product specific image captures in multiple languages Collaborate with colleagues and technical subject matter experts when appropriate to assist in the maintenance of accurate, effective, and timely curriculum that supports internal and external needs Implement feedback received from standard sources, such as management, senior course developers, or technical subject matter experts Attend and provide feedback on content for alpha, beta, or instructor-readiness events as needed Perform peer review of course and lab content Build technical and instructional design knowledge through ongoing commitment to training and professional development Build knowledge of Docusign products, technologies, industry vertical, and integration areas Demonstrate ability to update technical content for foundational technical roles including administrators and end users Learn and follow defined design and development processes Master development tools used in creating instructor-led, self-paced eLearning, and video tutorial content Support other department initiatives as identified by the manager Job Designation Remote: Employee is not required to be in or near an office frequently and works from a designated remote work location for the majority of the time. Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience working with basic technical knowledge and basic instructional design, training development, or training delivery for a technical audience, or experience supporting training within a technical support, technical consulting, engineering, or other technical organization Full professional proficiency in English Professional working proficiency in one or more of the following languages: Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, or Japanese Preferred Demonstrated ability to support the design and development tasks for technical course curriculum, Content samples of instructor-led course content, self-paced courses, and/or video-based tutorials that you created are encouraged Demonstrated ability to research, test, and learn software products with guidance for the purpose of training others Basic graphics development and visual design skills Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both written and verbal Experience in industry-standard course development applications and tools like Articulate 360 and Camtasia Basic project management skills Additional language proficiency in Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese Basic understanding of APIs, application best practices, and programming languages such as C# and Java is useful Life at Docusign Working here Docusign is committed to building trust and making the world more agreeable for our employees, customers and the communities in which we live and work.
