      • Customer and Commercial
        • Customer 360: Customer360 Team works on a Salesforce application that provides a 360-degree view of a Customer and their Southwest journey. We continue to enhances the Customer Experience by providing more ways to connect with Southwest through a personalized self-service experiences. We are a high-performing, fun-luving, and driven Team comprised of analysts, developers, scrum masters, and In-Pod testers.
        • RMT Pricing Applications and Tools: Ever wondered when the best time to buy a Southwest ticket is? Ever wondered how Airlines competitively Price Match fares against other airlines? Are you up for a challenge? Come find out the answers to these questions and more by helping define and deliver analytical and decision support solutions to our Pricing Customers in the Revenue Management space. In the space, you will be exposed to a wide range of Technology opportunities by engaging with complex pricing data structures to implement or maintain front-end and back-end solutions in both legacy on-prem and leading-edge cloud hosted implementations.         • Network Planning Technology: We are a project Team in Network Planning, working on a multi-year revenue generating program. The scope for our project is cross-functional and impacts many Technology and Business Teams at Southwest. It would be great learning opportunity for a College Hire as it impacts various parts of the Airline, from Customer Experience to Operations. Our Team is tight-knit and full of experienced Southwest Cohearts who would be excited for the opportunity to mentor a new College Hire.
      • Infrastructure
        • Enterprise Technology Operations: Our team supports over 220 applications that support the operations and the business of SWA and use Site Reliability Engineering to take a proactive approach from the Incidents/Critical Incidents we learn from
      • People and Finance
        • Employee Travel Management: This role will help drive employee travel privileges. The opportunity will allow for this individual to grow our team and technical leadership. Through this partnership we are growing the travel management space and building new solutions that will impact our employees.
        • Payments and Vacations Revenue Accounting: This Team is working on an exciting project to revamp our Vacations space, implementing a brand new Revenue Accounting System.
      • Tech Ops
        • Workforce Solutions: This team is working on the greenfield project to make a modern and highly reliable application. We are rewriting legacy applications used for Tech Ops Hangar and Stores employee work scheduling and overtime requests are being considered for possible replacement.
      • Tech Platforms
        • Integrated Data Foundation (IDF): Are you passionate about data and eager to make a real-world impact right out of college?       Job Summary

      • Conduct needs analysis to create quality solutions. Ensure solutions are aligned with stated requirements and comply with departmental standards. Manage activities to ensure solutions are delivered on-time and within budget. Serve as a resource to ensure effective communications.

      Additional details:

      • This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is a limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, Washington and Wyoming.

      • Stay informed about current developments within his or her expertise
      • Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

      • Apply business solutions with broad level knowledge about technology platforms/architectures
      • Verify information and carefully review and check the accuracy of own work using dependency identification processes in technology work

      • Express ideas, business or technical requirements clearly and concisely in writing using appropriate levels of summary and synthesis

      • Basic knowledge of business analysis, process modeling and redesign
      • Basic knowledge of technical environments
      • Basic knowledge of the software development methodologies
      • Ability to partner, communicate, and negotiate with various Teams and/or external partners
      • Ability to analyze small to medium, or vague Business or technical problems, articulating the problem or root cause, and translating the analysis into viable solution recommendations
      • Ability to work effectively in a strong Customer service/team oriented environment
      • Ability to research, create, and document requirements, processes and technical specifications

      Education

      • Required: High School Diploma or GED
      • Required: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent formal training

      Experience

      • Required: Entry-level experience; developing skills and knowledge in information technology (IT) operations, programming, systems/software development or another IT related field
      • Preferred: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, ServiceNow, and Jira
      • Preferred: Knowledge of or exposure of Data Analytics
      • Preferred: Knowledge of or exposure to Pricing Knowledge
      • Preferred: Knowledge of or exposure to User Story Writing and Requirements Gathering
      • Preferred: Exposure to user acceptance testing, regression, or certification testing
      • Preferred: Basic knowledge of software design, SDLC, and software
      • Preferred: Experience and/or exposure to requirements gathering

      Pay and Benefits:

      • Competitive market salary from $63,000.00 per year to $70,000.00 per year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at the discretion of the company.
