About DCL: Dairyland Collegiate League (DCL) is a collegiate baseball league based in south-central Wisconsin. DCL is going into its fifth year of operation where it has grown from three to six teams and had collegiate players from all levels including graduated high school seniors entering their first year of college to division one baseball players. Internships at Dairyland Collegiate League offer a front row experience to the day to day grind of the sports industry. DCL is a small league and working here offers you the chance to not only experience a variety of roles but allows you to take on your own projects and bring your ideas to life. The ideal candidate for DCL is someone who takes initiative and is always willing to help out the team. Summers in the DCL can be busy but there is no better way to spend your summer than watching baseball!

Weekday Nights and Weekend Games

Athletic Training

• Rehab work including cuping, scraping, assessemnts and other injury prevention mechanisms
• Provide pre-game care including tape, wrapping, and assessments as necessary to get athletes ready for game
• Ensure athletes are ready to play in any weather condition by providing supplies as needed (ice, wet towels, electrolytes, etc.)
• Assess and treat injuries including creating injury prevention and recovery plans
• Keep track of athletes injuries and provided care through organized spreadsheet

*reliable transportation: games are hosted at various locations throughout south-central Wisconsin, transportation is necessary for game attendance
