      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Audit medical records to identify missed charges, incorrect coding, and inconsistencies that affect billing opportunities
      - Perform Root Cause Analyses and report findings related to coding and billing issues
      - Retrieve missing patient information and documentation required for billing
      - Prepare reports and educational materials based on audit findings
      - Provide coding support for cross-functional team inquiries and special projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 3 years of coding experience
      - Must have and maintain an approved coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA
      - Must have or obtain at least one additional certification (CANPC or CPMA) within 1 year of employment
      - Extensive knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records
      - Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft 365 and Excel (basic formulas, concatenate, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous coding experience within Anesthesia or General Surgery
      - Knowledge of clinical documentation compliance and regulatory requirements
