      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Audit medical records to identify missed charges, incorrect coding, and inconsistencies affecting billing
      - Perform Root Cause Analyses to uncover common issues related to coding and billing
      - Retrieve missing patient information and documentation for accurate billing
      - Prepare reports and summaries of audit findings for educational purposes
      - Provide coding support to cross-functional teams and assist with special projects

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum of 3 years of coding experience
      - Must possess an approved coding credential through AAPC or AHIMA
      - Ability to obtain at least one additional certification (CANPC or CPMA) within one year of employment
      - Extensive knowledge of medical billing software and electronic medical records
      - Proficient PC skills, including Microsoft 365 and Excel

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Previous coding experience within Anesthesia or General Surgery
      - Familiarity with Clinical Documentation compliance and regulatory requirements
