What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and process formulary exception requests based on clinical criteria and guidelines
- Maintain clear and timely communication with facility teammates regarding processing issues
- Draft written responses and correspondence as needed to resolve outstanding issues
- Assist with special projects assigned by Clinical Operations management
- Utilize appropriate approval and denial language on messages, providing alternatives based on clinical guidelines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred
- Current Registered Pharmacy Technician certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting required
- Previous experience with Prior Authorizations, Formulary Exemptions, and Utilization Management required
- Excellent MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience working specifically in prior authorization processes
- Ability to travel up to 10% as needed
