What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and direct project teams for multiple automation projects, focusing on design, software configuration, and coding
- Oversee delivery of automation scope under CAPEX projects, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, and schedule management
- Supervise and manage external engineering contractors and software/hardware vendors throughout project lifecycle
- Provide routine project management updates and maintain controlled engineering documentation
- Develop and improve technical global standards for electronic batch recording

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering or equivalent experience
- Extensive experience in project management and coordination of capital projects in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of large-scale commercial mammalian cell culture processing and aseptic filling
- Experience with control systems (PLC, DCS, MES) and their design and operation
- Ability to manage and coordinate engineering and construction management consultants, equipment vendors, and contractors

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in science
- Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP
- Familiarity with the latest ASME Bioprocess Equipment standards
- Experience with virtualization infrastructure and design
- Knowledge of historians, preferably OSISoft PI
