What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and configure audio and video systems, including video walls and sound reinforcement
- Develop detailed system schematics and CAD drawings using AutoCAD and other software
- Provide budget estimates for A/V, security systems, and structured cabling solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project execution
- Conduct routine site inspections during installation and commissioning phases

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, information technology, or a related field highly preferred
- Minimum of two years of experience in A/V, security camera systems, access control, and structured cabling design
- Proficiency in A/V and security system design, including knowledge of audio processing and video conferencing
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and its integration with A/V systems
- Must be able to complete Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) certification upon hire

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with engineering graphics software such as Visio, Blue Beam, and AutoCAD
- Knowledge of data center systems and infrastructure management
- Ability to obtain relevant certifications such as Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) or Certified Technology Specialist (CTS)
