PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to under-go Security Vetting Processes ( including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.

DHL work in partnership with easyJet at John Lennon Airport to provide all ground handling within their Liverpool operation. No two days on our Aviation contract are the same! You will play an integral role in the ground handling operation, working to tight timeframes but delivering fantastic results.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Responsible for loading passengers' checked baggage onto the aircraft
• Sorting baggage according to flight destinations, ensuring that it is loaded onto the correct aircraft
• Transport baggage between the terminal, aircraft, and baggage claim area using various equipment like baggage carts, conveyor belts, and baggage handling systems
• Assisting in the pushback of aircraft from the gate, using tow tractors
• Ensure compliance in both airline and airport policies
• Maintain a safe working environment at all times

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Safe manual handling to lift and move heavy luggage
• Ability to work in various weather conditions
• Previous experience in ground handling, advantageous

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL

• Be able to provide 5 years address history
• Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
• To obtain a full airside ID
