The AWC Clinical Support Nurse contributes to the success of Convatec Advanced Wound Care by providing outstanding support to Advanced Wound Care contacts. All interactions are by phone or online.

Please note this is initially slated as a Part-Time, 12-month Fixed Term Contract opportunity.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• During contracted hours, monitor customer portals (website, email, phone) for submission of product or service inquiries specific to AWC.
• Swiftly identify consumer needs and manage accordingly.
• Triage and route submitted inquiries to appropriate internal staff.
• Using Convatec programs (MS Dynamics, TrackWise), document reported complaints in accordance with FDA regulations and company policies and procedures; follow-up as required to collect additional information.
• Ensure that all customer interactions follow established standards operating procedures set by the organization. Use clear and concise written and oral communication techniques (including good grammatical form) in all interactions. ABOUT THE PERSON

Education/Certifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Current and unrestricted state license as a Registered Nurse
• Wound certification through an approved certification entity such as WOCNCB, NAWCO, ABWM

Experience:

• Mastery of core knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to wound care.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to interact with a diverse consumer base at various educational levels.
• Ability to adhere to company procedures and processes.
• Demonstrate self-motivation, integrity, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
• Strong computer skills using Microsoft applications including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM application preferred.

Competencies:

• Maintain Wound Nurse certification.
• Ability to work independently and strong decision-making skills.
• Broad knowledge of healthcare environment and industry.
• Experience handling communications via the telephone and internet while maintaining a high level of efficiency, courtesy and professionalism.
• Proficient in using and navigating multiple computer windows with excellent working knowledge of various applications.

Working Conditions:

• This is a remote position; the ideal candidate must have the ability to work independently and remotely from home. A quiet home office with high-speed internet access is required for remote positions
