What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure SQL Database, Azure Managed Instance, and SQL Server on Azure VMs
- Ensure database high availability and disaster recovery using various Azure features
- Monitor and optimize database performance and resource utilization
- Implement security measures, including role-based access control and data encryption
- Develop and maintain automated backup and disaster recovery strategies

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL
- Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL on Azure
- Proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell scripting, and automation tools
- Strong knowledge of database replication, indexing strategies, and query tuning
- Familiarity with DevOps practices for database automation

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Microsoft Certifications such as Azure Database Administrator Associate (DP-300) or Azure Solutions Architect
