      BRANCH OVERVIEW
      Strategic Services (SSB) empowers Service BC’s high-performance, providing leadership and support to the division through innovation, business improvement and centralized services. SSB maintains focus on both the “Big Picture” and the more routine actions creating an environment for a best-in-class organization providing a range of services to the division including strategic leadership and communications, centralized information management, and business intelligence services.

      JOB OVERVIEW
      The Senior Product Manager will lead the Digital Team in the development, support, and strategic modernization of several of Service BC’s core business applications. This role is pivotal in driving innovation and ensuring that our digital solutions meet the evolving needs of our organization and its stakeholders.

      JOB REQUIREMENTS

      EDUCATION

      • Diploma (or higher) in a technology discipline, project management, or related field; OR,
      • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.


      EXPERIENCE

      • Minimum five (5) years’ related experience in product design and practices gained working in a product, project, or service capacity.
      • Minimum one (1) year related experience in a leadership role in the successful delivery of digital products or services; successful design, delivery and ongoing management of high-quality services which maximized opportunities offered by digital technology.
      • Minimum one (1) year related experience working in an agile, digital product focused development environment with User Experience teams, designers, and developers to iteratively create and improve digital products and services.
      • Experience in analyzing and using customer insight and user and performance data to design and continually improve digital services to fully meet user needs in a convenient and straightforward way.


      PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
      Preference may be given to one (1) of more of the following:

      • Additional years’ experience in the above job requirements.
      • Experience in current agile project management practices, open source, cloud platforms and digital services.
      • Experience managing complex enterprise IM/IT projects with multiple interdependencies including major business transformations, strategic communications, and the oversight of system integrators.

      The position headquarters will be Victoria, Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey or Prince George.
