      Job summary

      An exciting opportunity has arisen within the CAMHS Eating Disorder Team, with vacancies for two Assistant Psychologists to join our expanding team.

      You will be part of a diverse MDT that offers assessment and treatment to young people and their families, up to the age of 18 years, with a diagnosis of Anorexia, Bulimia, Binge Eating Disorder and ARFID.

      You will have opportunities to work alongside psychiatrists, family therapists, nurses, OTs, and other disciplines. You will be supported and supervised by a clinical psychologist and work alongside our clinical associate psychologist. An interest in working in eating disorders is imperative, however prior experience is not essential.

      You will be supported through a comprehensive induction programme, in-house CPD and specialist supervision.

      You will have opportunities to contribute towards our assessment clinics, support neurodevelopmental assessment work, hold a small individual case load and co-facilitate group work/ workshops.       Main duties of the job

      - To be part of our diverse MDT and jointly work with other team members in offering specialist assessment and treatment to young people with a diagnosis of an eating disorder.

      -To contribute to the neurodevelopmental assessment pathways, such as support ADOS assessments, ADHD assessments and the collation of developmental histories with parents/ carers.

      - To offer 1:1 therapeutic work, such as CBT/ DBT informed interventions.

      - To support the development of and delivery of psychological group work, e.g. DBT skills groups and ARFID workshops.

      -To support audit and evaluation work, contributing towards the evaluation of our service and service development.

      -To engage with project work, such as development of our quarterly newsletter, contribution to our website and the development of digital offers.

      - To support and work alongside a qualified Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Associate Psychologist

      - To be part of multi-disciplinary team meeting, e.g. clinical case discussions and service development plans
