Job Responsibilities:
- Handle routine customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, digital, or chat channels
- Use standard screens, scripts, and procedures to address customer inquiries
- Navigate computerized system to respond and troubleshoot customer questions
- Demonstrate excellent verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Manage and escalate risk and customer-impacting issues to management
- Maintain a quiet workspace and reliable internet connection if working from home
- Utilize provided equipment and training resources to deliver exceptional service
How You'll Do It:
- Assist over 100+ customers per day in a fast-paced, back-to-back call environment
- Engage with customers energetically and empathetically
- Utilize multiple systems to respond, troubleshoot, and document customer inquiries
- Follow verbatim scripts and procedures
- Build the Discover Financial brand through industry-leading care and innovative solutions
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- 1+ years of related field experience
Additional Information:
- A credit screening may be required for some roles within Discover Home Lending.
Compensation:
- Base pay ranges between $17.00 to $18.59, with additional incentives based on eligibility and market competitiveness.
