- - To be part of a team providing 24 hour medical cover for all routine medical care and response to consultant requests. Immediate first line resuscitation to patients, visitors or staff member as required.
- - To assist in the management of patients and provide back-up support to consultants
- - To liaise with the senior nurse regularly at least every 3-4 hours to check on patient progress, or more frequently if a patient's condition necessitates.

- - Graduation from an accredited School of Medicine
- - Minimum 2 years post graduation anaesthetic and or ICU experience
- - Current ACLS/ALS and EPLS/PALS certification
- - Knowledge and understanding of the critically ill patient
- - Critical care provider and Management during critical care phase - planned and unplanned
- - Provider of First Aid

Job summary
