What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct thorough investigations and analyses of high-risk, alerted, or unusual transactions and member activities
- Collaborate with Fraud Prevention Analysts and other employees to utilize all relevant information sources for investigations
- Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) and Currency Transaction Reports (CTRs) in compliance with regulatory requirements
- Provide guidance and training to Credit Union staff on BSA/AML and OFAC compliance procedures
- Maintain documentation of BSA Team procedures and assist in financial crimes risk management tracking and reporting
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of two years of investigative experience focusing on BSA, AML, and/or OFAC compliance
- Strong knowledge of BSA regulations, money laundering typologies, and financial investigations
- Familiarity with consumer banking products and their associated risks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and capable of producing accurate reports and documents

- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to confidentiality
- Initiative and self-direction in problem-solving and decision-making
- Willingness to travel to branches for audits as required
