What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform daily administration of the Bank Secrecy Act Compliance Program, including monitoring transactions and completing required reports
- Monitor compliance with BSA requirements and work with branch personnel to resolve deficiencies
- Conduct research on potentially suspicious activities and complete reporting associated with those activities
- Assist in developing and implementing training programs for employees on BSA compliance requirements
- Perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) on higher-risk accounts and monitor completion of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) questionnaires
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in a directly related field
- 1-2 years of compliance-related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Exceptional communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in financial services or banking compliance
- Familiarity with the Bank Secrecy Act and related regulations
- Proven ability to think critically and assess complex situations
- Experience in developing training materials or conducting training sessions
- Knowledge of customer due diligence processes
