      Overview

      It is the responsibility of the bartender to prepare and serve cocktails to servers and the guests in a friendly and efficient manner.

      Responsibilities

      • Expedite guests and/or server’s orders including the mixing and serving of beverages
      • Anticipate guests’ service needs and provide service to each guest quickly and accurately
      • Monitor bar area for seating availability, service, safety, and well-being of the guest
      • Take the guest order, always trying to use suggestive/ upselling techniques
      • Prepare quality cocktails, beer, and wine according to the Hard Rock beverage standards and / or recipes to all guest and servers
      • Process all guest orders thru the POS terminal noting food modifiers for guest special requests
      • Clear and re-set bar top and tables in bar area
      • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the shift
      • Notify management of maintenance repair issues
      • Complete any additional reasonable requests by management

      Qualifications

      • Minimum of one year of related experience in similar restaurant environment required
      • Able to work a varied work schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays.
      • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
      • Be flexible and adaptable to change.
      • Adheres to state liquor laws and beverage control procedures that pertain to serving and handling.
      • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.

      This is a seasonal position that requires working every Friday and Saturday night Memorial Day through Labor Day.
