Producing audience-targeted copy in-line with marketing briefs across our brands for a range of channels including email, internet banking, direct mail, social and digital display.
Applying the relevant tone of voice to branded communications and maintaining creative excellence in the output.
Taking ownership of the copy aspect of creative projects from start to finish.
Thinking conceptually to solve communications problems.
Working with designers to bring simple, tactical direct response communication ideas to life.
Ensuring direct response best practices and brand guidelines are always adhered to.
Working across a number of product areas and campaigns delivering high quality copy.
Highly adept at writing copy that embodies the principles of consumer duty.
Presenting creative work to our communications teams.
Significant agency or in-house copywriting experience, learning and developing your craft.
A genuine passion and all-round love for the written word!
You’ll have a solid background in writing financial services copy and understand how to write brilliant customer copy in a highly regulated environment.
The ability to work as a team with other copywriters and designers.
Digital advertising know-how and knowledge of best practices.
An attention to detail that upholds our high copy standards.
Ability to work to tight deadlines, accurately estimating time and able to work to those timescales.
As comfortable with a short headline as you are writing for longer copy formats.
Ability to identify challenges and work collaboratively to resolve them.

About this opportunityBeehive, our in-house creative agency sits within Brands Marketing and Experience, which is part of the Consumer Relationship division. We opened our doors in 2021, and we’re now a 40 strong team of passionate designers, artworkers, copywriters and account handlers. We’re about to embark on our next phase of evolution… growing our team to enable us to better support the growing demand for more personalised, digital 121 customer communications.
We work in partnership with communication teams across Brands, Marketing & Experience (BMX) and the Chief Customer Office (CCO) – working together to get every brief right first time – whether it’s copywriting that makes the complex simple, a personalised one-to-one campaign that drives action or in-branch material that is perfect for the time and place.
