What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Deliver special education and related services to exceptional children and students with behavioral and emotional disabilities
- Serve as a liaison between the central office, schools, and community agencies
- Support the development and implementation of programs for students with behavioral and/or emotional disabilities
- Maintain program data for the Autism and Behavior Support Programs
- Communicate with schools and families to enhance the delivery of special education services

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field
- Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience in Special Education or a directly related field
- Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina professional educator's license in Special Education or credentials as a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Considerable knowledge of behavior programming and modification as well as mental health
- Effective time management and communication skills
