What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Administer the University’s Health and Welfare, and Retirement benefits programs
- Counsel staff, faculty, retirees, and their families on plan enrollments and benefit changes
- Process enrollment and disenrollment for various benefits using Workday
- Serve as the primary resource for interpretation of benefits and assist in resolving issues
- Conduct benefit presentations for employees and new hires
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Vocational training, apprenticeships, or equivalent experience in a related field
- Basic knowledge of federal and state laws pertaining to benefits administration
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office

- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field
- Experience in benefits, human resources, or a business-related role
- Background in various benefits services, including health and welfare, medical, and retirement
- Distinguished presentation and exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively on multiple projects
