What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support geospatial analysis and development of cartographic products
- Collaborate with team members for quality assurance and quality control of data
- Communicate directly with internal Bureau professionals on a daily basis
- Assist in the automation of geospatial tasks using various tools and scripting languages
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the Division of Water and Power

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor of Science or Art degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., Physics, Hydrology, Geography)
- Demonstrated understanding of geospatial technologies and physical phenomena
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Sensitivity to cultural and equal opportunity-related issues

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Interest or experience in water resource management, power generation, or distribution systems
- Experience with geospatial tools such as ESRI ArcGIS and ERDAS Imagine
- Problem-solving skills in complex scenarios requiring innovative approaches
