Job Description

- Reports to: Trail Crew Supervisor
- Employees Supervised: None
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of Whitefish Mountain Resort operations preferred
- Advanced biking skills preferred
- Previous experience in trail building or outdoor labor preferred
- Proficiency with landscaping and mountain bike tools
- Ability to operate a mountain bike consistent with WMR Mountain Bike policy
- Strong guest service skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age for guest transportation
- Assist in building and maintaining bike trails using hand tools and small mechanized equipment
- Ensure proper placement and maintenance of trail signs
- Safely transport gear to and from work sites
- Communicate with Bike Park Management to identify areas of improvement
- Assist in emergency response and patient evacuation
- Be familiar with accident response protocol
- Maintain a neat appearance and wear uniform
- Provide courteous assistance to mountain guests
- Provide information to guests at patrol stations and headquarters
- Perform event set up and support as needed
- Conduct periodic inspections of work areas
- Wear personal protective equipment as required
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds in emergency rescues
- Work under varying weather conditions
- May require working weekends, holidays, and overtime during peak demand times
