What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming telephone calls and accurately book appointments in the Next Gen system
- Take messages from patients, doctors, and pharmacies, and confirm appointments for the following business day
- Assist with the registration of new patients, entering demographics and insurance information
- Counsel patients regarding appointment verification and scheduling for multiple physicians
- Maintain accurate documentation in each patient's chart related to calls and messages

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 1 year of experience scheduling appointments and/or surgeries
- Experience with insurance verification and processes
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with proficiency in speaking and writing
- Ability to multitask and work effectively with a diverse patient population
- Strong communication and organizational skills

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a call center or healthcare setting
- Familiarity with Next Gen system or similar medical scheduling software
- Knowledge of office protocols and procedures in a clinical environment
