What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform insurance authorizations for all patients scheduled for services
- Select accurate medical records for patient safety and communicate with insurance companies
- Submit authorization requests based on plan requirements for approval
- Act as a liaison between the ordering physician and insurance company to ensure requirements are met
- Maintain knowledge of patient insurance processes for obtaining authorizations and benefits verification

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be bilingual
- High School Diploma required; Associates preferred
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a healthcare-related position
- Experience working with insurance companies and/or in pre-authorizations
- Certification as a Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) required within 9 months of hire

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in Medical Assisting preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology or CPT/procedure codes
- Patient Access experience with managed care/insurance and call center experience highly preferred
- Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills
