- Bachelor’s degree in teaching subject; Master’s degree preferred but not required.
- Native Japanese speaker with several years of experience in teaching Japanese/Kokugo.
- Teaching experience for Grades 9-12 students is preferred.
- Ability to understand and contribute to the department’s goals and curriculum development.
- Passion for teaching and making improvements to enhance student learning.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
- The rate will range from $55 to $80 (DOE) per class.
- General teaching preparation, homework assignment, and grading are inclusive and not separately compensated.
- Attendance at faculty/department meetings will be compensated at your class rate.

Job Description:
As a Japanese/Kokugo Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching 4-9 regular classes per week for students in Grades 9-12. The ideal candidate will be a native Japanese speaker with several years of experience in teaching Japanese/Kokugo. You will collaborate with other teachers in the department to achieve the department's goals and improve students' skills. Additionally, you will have a passion for teaching students and making continuous improvements to the curriculum.
