What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure order setup accuracy for proper reimbursement
- Perform daily review of orders for billing
- Conduct follow-up and collections activities on assigned accounts to maintain reduced Days Sales Outstanding (DSO)
- Recommend receivables for refund, adjustment, or write-off
- Submit appeals as required and perform inquiries to payers on outstanding receivables

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of one year related experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in billing and collections within a healthcare or rehabilitation setting
- Knowledge of state and federal compliance requirements related to billing
- Familiarity with medical billing software or systems
