      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Establish billing processes and ensure timely submission of accurate claims data
      - Conduct account follow-ups, including adjustment claims and reconsiderations
      - Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, providers, and insurance companies
      - Facilitate prompt and accurate payments from third-party payors
      - Troubleshoot claim edits and resolve billing requirements in a timely manner

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
      - Minimum of 1 year of increasingly responsible administrative experience, including healthcare compliance and/or revenue cycle
      - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
      - Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and deadlines
      - Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance billing protocols

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field
      - Knowledge of professional revenue cycle processes
      - Certification through a hospital or professional revenue cycle organization, such as CPC Code Certification
      - Familiarity with medical billing codes (CPT, HCPCS, ICD9)
      - Experience with One Chart/EPIC software
